·         Summary of Responsibilities:

·         An Engineering intern supports the organization by lending assistance to the Engineering and Operations departments in areas such as product enhancements and development, manufacturing processes, and equipment performance.

·         Primary Responsibilities:

 

·         Maintains strict confidentiality

·         Must be 18 years of age to work in the manufacturing area

·         Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

·         Ability to pass a drug test and background check

·         Basic understanding of office equipment

·         High sense of urgency

·         Detail oriented

·         Good communication skills

·         Proficiency in MS Office and related software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, MATLAB

·         Ability to work in a team environment

·         Very task-oriented

·         Self-starter

·         Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to focus on multiple projects through to completion

·         Other duties as assigned.

·         Education/Certifications:

·         Must be currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution (for summer interns, they must be enrolled the following semester)

·         Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0

·         Sponsorship is not available for internships
