Klick’s Applied Sciences team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. Position Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Toronto
Team: Applied Science
Target start date: mid-August 2021 or September 2021

 

As a Mechanical Engineer in the Klick Applied Sciences team, your role will involve:
Primary responsibilities:
Medical device conception
Work with the medical, behavioral and electric engineer teams to design prototype devices- Sensors, camera, display, wearables, etc.
Prototype manufacturing (3D printing, fabrics, electrodes, etc.)
Documentation of systems for patents and suppliers
Testing and iteration of devices in clinical studies
Research and publication
Secondary responsibilities:
General ideations and brainstorming
Data analysis (some mathematics and data science)
Development of our prototype manufacturing process
Assist with regulatory submission with FDA or Health Canada
Requirements:
Recent completion of Mechanical Engineering program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) is a must
Familiarity with healthcare is an asset
Comfort and familiarity with physiology/medicine is required
